FAQ
Does the Reactor Liner Have a Zipper?
No, to minimise weight and packed volume, a side zipper was not included. However, snaps at the shoulders allow for a wider opening compared to some liners, making entry and exit easier. The drawcord footbox provides ventilation for the feet or can be adjusted to allow walking around camp.
Can the Reactor Liner Be Machine Washed?
Yes, the Reactor Liner is machine washable using regular supermarket detergent. However, fabric softeners should be avoided as they can reduce wicking performance. It can be machine dried on a cool or low setting without dryer sheets or air dried.
How Much Warmth Does the Reactor Liner Add to a Sleeping Bag?
The additional warmth provided by the Reactor Liner depends on several factors, including the sleeping bag’s ability to retain heat (which is different from its temperature rating) and the insulation properties of the sleeping pad (which is not solely determined by its R-value). When used with an appropriate sleeping bag and pad, the liner can increase warmth by several degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
