Rab Men's Arc Eco Waterproof Jacket

The Arc Eco represents the brand’s first venture into using 3-layer Pertex® Shield Revolve—a waterproof and breathable fabric crafted entirely from post-consumer recycled polyester. Uniquely, the face fabric, membrane, and backer are all composed of the same polymer, significantly simplifying the recycling process at the garment's end of life.

This innovative construction not only reduces the environmental footprint of production but also enhances the potential to fully recycle polyester, helping close the loop on its life cycle. The Arc Eco is also finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, enhancing its waterproof capabilities without compromising sustainability. Designed with mountain pursuits in mind, the jacket features an adjustable hood with a laminated peak and a soft fleece-lined chin guard for added comfort. It includes a drawcord hem, anti-snag hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs, and YKK® AquaGuard® zips throughout. Two A-line chest pockets are conveniently placed for quick access, offering ample space for gloves, a map, or other essentials.

Pertex® Shield Revolve

This lightweight, waterproof fabric offers excellent breathability and is crafted entirely from recycled materials. Thanks to its monopolymer structure, it can be far more easily recycled at the end of its life compared to conventional fabrics that combine various polymer layers.

End of life in mind

Built with recycled monopolymer fabrics, this gear is also easier to recycle at the end of its life than fabric made from multiple polymer layers.
